UK moves toward sustainable palm oil

The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) believe The Growth and Infrastructure Bill is a below the radar attack on level-headed planning and protection of the nation’s precious environment and countryside. The group fear it will do little for long term economic development, and will send a mistaken message that any development is good for growth.

£11m intended for energy saving disappears

More solar companies join legal action over FIT cuts

Five companies have announced that they will joining the three previous solar companies in requesting damages from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). The companies claim that the "unlawful and unfair" cuts to the feed-in tariff caused substantial damages to the solar companies’ respective businesses.

London needs Anaerobic Digestion

Questions have to be asked as to why not a single Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant is in operation, or currently in construction in London, despite strong backing from both the previous Mayor of London and the current Mayor, whose revised strategy says AD is the optimal treatment method for food waste, after waste reduction.
