Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for insulating a poured concrete floor before carpet tiles are laid on top?

The floor is in a small victorian warehouse and so it pretty cold.

Any ideas much appreciated!

Thanks,
Finbar

how about a floating floor?

or perimeter insulation

Thanks - do you mean insulating underneath and then elevating the floor?

Perimeter insulation would mean insulating around the foundations - is that right?

Thanks for the reply,
Finbar

Forgive me asking, but why should you want to lay carpet tiles in a warehouse, but as Tony says, use a floating floor
