Thank you Tony...
Can anyone tell me how much the whole side of a house would cost, I want to purchase flat on ground floor, so hopefully would only cost me half the price...???

Once you're up to do the job of rendering anyhow integrate the external insulation. This will make the entire job of insulating relativly cheap. Scaffolding, skip, man hours and rendering are already paid for, so only the EPS(or whatever), the glue and the plugging/meshing has to be seen as an extra cost. Maybe the extension/replacement of window cills and window/door frames as well, depending on the situation. External insulation is the most efficient way of insulating a home, once the rendering has to be done anyhow it is also the cheapest/most sustainable method to save energy by insulating. Don't waste money on make-up. Spend it on quality.
