Having battled for 3 years for plannng permission, this low impact development in Pembrokeshire is finally under way. Still in its very early stages and looking for volunteers to help build a 25 foot reciprocal frame roundhouse, including dry stone walling, reciprocal roof raising, building straw bale walls, lime rendering, turf roofing. No previous experience needed, though enthusiasm a must.
All tools provided, but bring sturdy shoes, waterproofs, gloves and a packed lunch. Hot drinks provided, and basic kitchen facilities available for heating food.
Building is taking place every day until mid December 2009, people welcome for the day or campers also welcome.
